I found a couple of issues . The air conditioning seemed centrally controlled. I could not adjust it in the room (I'd have liked to control the temperature myself).

indifferent staff significant noise
the location met my EXPECTATIONS, placing me conveniently near the train station.
the STAFF at the reception was indifferent. i found the room smaller than i expected. noise from nearby streets was SIGNIFICANT, disrupting my rest.

Excellent location and views
train station canal view comfortable bed
The hotel is very close to the train station. It made arrival and departure very simple. I had a junior suite facing the Grand Canal and i could see magical canal action from two balconies. The bed felt comfortable and the suite included two washrooms plus a sitting area.
The hotel staff seemed nonchalant upon arrival. I had to wait longer for the room to be ready. I felt as though i was burdening them.

The breakfast buffet included a variety of options catering to different tastes. I saw fresh pastries alongside savory items. I also saw assorted fruits and yogurts offered in the breakfast area. A perfect start to my day.
